Hello, My name is Tani....My son Jared died from injuries sustained is a car crash
in Las Vegas, NV on May 9, 2008. I met Kathy in July 2008 and became a part of the Mom's group almost immediately.
I now assist her with keeping up this site and writing up emails. We plan events for the group to do and
I try to go with her to meet new Moms. Whether new to the loss or new to the site, we're all walking the same journey.

My child : Joshua Rabung Deuel
I was born and raised in Edmonds WA.I had my only child on December 8, 1988.
In 1995 my husband myself and my son Joshua moved to CO, and that’s where we raised our family.
Joshua really enjoyed the sunshine so being in CO was only natural for him, so when the decision to go
to college was in front of our family, Joshua chose the sunshine, CO. I however missed the smell of the ocean, being in a boat and
having so much space that I could look around and not see anyone else. On November 13, 2008 my son Joshua was killed in a car accident in CO,
after going through the motions of burying your child and only child for me, I was blessed to find this group of moms, SLMOMS ,
without them, I don’t know if I could get up every day, thinking your all alone is really hard, but with our group of moms they don’t let you feel alone.
We can laugh together, share a tear together, but most importantly, not walk alone.
